Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un nouvel appareil ou réacteur de production de dioxyde de chlore. Le réacteur reçoit des réactifs en provenance d'au moins deux conduites d'alimentation sous pression, et les réactifs réagissent dans une chambre de réaction qui fonctionne sous une pression élevée et à l'intérieur d'une plage de température déterminée. Un produit gazeux, tel que le dioxyde de chlore, est généré et délivré directement dans une flux liquide pour le blanchiment, la désinfection, et à d'autres fins. L'invention a également trait à un nouveau système pour la production de quantités de composés chlorés à partir matériaux de départ de qualité commerciale, et à des procédés d'utilisation du réacteur in situ pour le blanchiment, et pour la désinfection, la décontamination, et la stérilisation de débits d'eau ou d'autres liquides.
