Abstract

Lors du sautage effectué dans une roche, on remplit un trou de forage (12) de couches composites (20, 30, 40) écartées les unes des autres et situées à des hauteurs différentes entre une embouchure ouverte (14) et un fond borgne (16). Chaque couche composite est portée par un bouchon (22, 32, 42). Une matière coulante formant piston (24, 34, 44), composée par exemple de déblais de forage, est portée sur le bouchon respectif et suivie d'une matière de sautage (26, 36, 46) surmontée d'une couche supplémentaire de matière formant piston (28, 38, 48). La matière formant piston supérieur (48) se présente sous la forme d'une matière de bourrage. Les couches composites sont écartées les unes des autres et éventuellement écartées du fond (16). Des amorces (27, 37, 47) peuvent être actionnées par une unité de commande de manière à amorcer la matière de sautage afin de déplacer à vitesse élevée les couches de matière formant piston, lesquelles viennent se heurter notamment contre le fond et les unes contre les autres de manière à concentrer l'énergie au niveau des sites de collision.
