Abstract

Un robot plan permet de couper des produits, comme des pièces de viande. Le produit est déplacé le long d'un convoyeur ou positionné sur une table de travail et coupé par un outil, préférablement un jet d'eau. L'outil est tenu par une paire de bras. Les bras comportent des premières extrémités pivotantes installées sur des bases mobiles. Les bras ont aussi des deuxièmes extrémités pivotantes connectées les unes aux autres. La commande déplace chacune des bases mobiles de sorte à contrôler la position de l'outil de coupe dans un plan au-dessus du convoyeur ou de la table.
