Abstract
Une surface de terrain de jeux qui est sûre et appropriée pour utilisation par des enfants est constituée dune couche de base, dune couche fluide perméable de recouvrement de la base, dune couche de sac, dune couche de particules broyées et dune couche de recouvrement supérieure. La couche de sac est constituée dune pluralité de sacs, chacun rempli avec du caoutchouc lâche ou déchiqueté, et dans lesquels sont alignés côte à côte pour former une seule couche de rangées et de colonnes. La couche de particules broyées est constituée de caoutchouc broyé ou déchiqueté ou de particules de pneus qui sont fixés dans une couche cohésive par un liant. Une bordure de retenue définit la surface du terrain de jeux et contient les couches.
