Abstract
Méthode d'extraction de bitume à partir de dépôts souterrains de sables bitumineux comprenant les étapes suivantes : l'explosion du dépôt souterrain pour le fragmenter et ainsi former un dépôt explosé qui pourra être mélangé à un fluide d'injection, ce qui permettra d'ablater et de libérer ensuite l'huile lourde d'un matériau inerte de sorte que l'huile lourde flotte dans le fluide d'injection qui forme une mousse composée du fluide d'injection et du bitume libéré, dans et sur le dépôt explosé; l'injection du fluide dans le dépôt explosé pour former un dépôt injecté; la récupération de l'huile lourde avec le fluide d'injection dans le dépôt injecté; le retrait du fluide du dépôt injecté pour former un dépôt traité, le dépôt traité se trouvant compacté sous l'effet du retrait du fluide du dépôt injecté.
