Abstract

La présente concerne un mécanisme de verrouillage pour une suspension de casque protecteur utilisant deux crémaillères, un pignon, un dispositif d'entraînement et un bouton de verrouillage. Les deux crémaillères sont positionnées sur la suspension de telle sorte qu'elles se chevauchent et permettent l'engagement des engrenages sur le dispositif d'entraînement avec les dents sur la crémaillère de telle sorte que lorsque le bouton de verrouillage est en position déverrouillée, le dispositif d'entraînement serre ou desserre les crémaillères pour ajuster le diamètre de la suspension au tour de tête de l'utilisateur. Le bouton de verrouillage de l'invention fonctionne selon un système tirer, tourner, pousser et verrouiller. Il ne comporte pas de parties métalliques et le bouton de verrouillage peut être verrouillé et déverrouillé d'une main par l'utilisateur.
