Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé d'extraction de composés de soufre à partir d'un flux d'hydrocarbures. Une partie de prélavage destinée à convertir le sulfure d'hydrogène en un sel de sulfure par réaction avec un alcali, tel qu'une substance caustique, communique avec une partie d'extraction disposée directement au-dessus de la partie de prélavage afin de convertir des mercaptanes en mercaptides par réaction avec l'alcali. Un produit hydrocarboné ressort de la partie d'extraction à travers un coalesceur qui empêche l'alcali de ressortir avec le flux de produit hydrocarboné. La partie de prélavage destinée à convertir le sulfure d'hydrogène en sulfure de sodium par réaction avec un alcali, tel qu'une substance caustique, prépare le flux d'hydrocarbures pour l'extraction. L'alcali utilisé est retiré en continu et l'alcali régénéré est ajouté en continu à la partie de prélavage.
