Abstract

Les lames latérales gauche et droite sont rattachées à l'aide d'une charnière à la lame principale afin de former des axes presque verticaux et peuvent pivoter chacune de 180o. Les lames latérales pivotent à l'aide d'actionneurs rotatifs hydrauliques gauche et droit. L'actionneur comprend un piston formé de cannelures hélicoïdales, qui entraînent un manchon de rotor de l'actionneur afin de pivoter en formant un cercle à plan unique lorsque le piston est entraîné dans le sens axial. Les portées des tourillons de l'actionneur rotatif sont complétées par des portées prévues dans une charnière inférieure coaxiale, lesquelles portées présentent une capacité des tourillons beaucoup plus grande que les portées des actionneurs rotatifs. La charnière inférieure protège l'actionneur rotatif hydraulique contre les chocs associés à la lame latérale lorsqu'elle frappe une bordure de trottoir.
