Abstract

Un système de construction utilisant un dispositif mécanique qui applique une force sur un assemblage d'éléments ayant une haute résistance en compression pour construire des murs, toits, planchers, poutres. Le dispositif permet de conserver l'intégrité de l'assemblage même si celui-ci subit des changements de volumétrie. Il comprend trois parties : une première composante, tel un treuil, applique une force sur l'assemblage. Une seconde composante, tel une bande flexible, transmet la force à l'assemblage sur une longue distance. Une troisième composante, tel un ressort en compression, maintient la force appliquée par les deux premières même s'il y a changement dans la volumétrie. Une membrane compressible, imperméable assure l'étanchéité de l'assemblage. La bande flexible peut-être utilisée seule, sans le treuil ou le ressort.
