Abstract
Un contre-batteur possède des éléments qui sétendent axialement et des éléments qui sétendent circonférentiellement. Chacun de ces éléments possède une surface intérieure plate présentée en direction du rotor. Les surfaces plates des éléments qui sétendent axialement se trouvent dans la même surface circulaire que les éléments qui sétendent circonférentiellement. Cet agencement présente une surface grillagée lisse qui fait face au rotor. Les éléments qui sétendent axialement présentent un espacement progressivement plus large pour la première partie de leur section. En commençant par lespacement le plus grand dans la direction que le matériau entre dans le contre-batteur et un espacement de plus en plus petit en séloignant de louverture jusquà ce quil atteigne un espacement uniforme pour le reste de lunité de contre-batteur.
