Abstract

L'invention concerne entre autres, un filtre à air à utiliser dans un conduit ayant une ou plusieurs parois. Le filtre à air comprend un cadre périphérique, lequel comporte un châssis essentiellement résilient et compressible, ainsi qu'une ossature interne essentiellement rigide à l'intérieur du châssis. Le filtre à air comporte également un élément filtrant fixé sur tout son périmètre de manière étanche au châssis du cadre périphérique. L'élément filtrant est conçu pour éliminer les impuretés de l'air qui passe par le conduit. Lorsque le filtre à air est utilisé, il est situé dans le conduit de manière à ce que le châssis du cadre périphérique soit comprimé contre les parois du conduit de façon essentiellement étanche.
