Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système de transfert de patient destiné à transférer un patient sur une table d~opération dans une position couchée (à plat ventre) à partir d~une position en décubitus dorsal (couchée sur le dos - face vers le haut), et vice versa. Intégré dans une partie dudit système se trouve un appareil qui transforme la surface d~une table d~opération couramment utilisée en une plateforme spécialisée configurée pour soutenir un patient en position couchée pour une chirurgie du dos ou d~autres procédures médicales. Dans un mode de réalisation, l~appareil comprend un cadre configuré pour reposer sur la surface d~une table d~opération et soutenir les membres fixés au cadre, configuré pour soutenir le patient dans une position couchée. Ainsi, l~appareil convertit des tables d~opération couramment utilisées en chirurgie du dos spécialisée. L~appareil élimine l~utilisation de diverses structures de support improvisées rembourrées sous le patient pour fournir un support sur la table d~opération dans une position couchée.
