Abstract

On réduit la teneur en benzène d'un stock d'essence grâce à un procédé consistant à hydrogéner un flux contenant du benzène dans la zone d'isomérisation. Les autres hydrocarbures cycliques produits par la saturation du benzène peuvent être traités dans la zone d'isomérisation (30, 22) pour obtenir l'ouverture des cycles afin d'accroître la quantité de matières paraffiniques disponible dans la zone d'isomérisation, ou encore la zone d'isomérisation (30, 22) peut fonctionner de manière à ce que les hydrocarbures cycliques traversent une section de récupération des produits. Le flux de la zone d'isomérisation (10, 13) est traité pour en retirer les contaminants, puis séché (11) avant de pénétrer dans la zone d'hydrogénation (32).
