Abstract

La présente invention fournit généralement un dispositif de traction remplaçant une roue qui emploie, pour la propulsion, une chenille se prolongeant longitudinalement autour dun pignon et coopérant avec ledit pignon, des poulies de tension de chenille et un châssis de soutien. Les deux poulies de tension de chenille sont installées de manière pivotante entre les rails, une à lavant et une à larrière. Le châssis de soutien comporte également des emplacements de réception de galets de roulement servant à soutenir de manière pivotante un ou plusieurs galets de roulement, au besoin. La portion avant du châssis de soutien comporte également un système tendeur de chenille qui emploie la résilience du matériau de châssis de soutien pour fournir la tension.
