Abstract

Un système et une méthode permettent la commutation entre des conversations dans des applications de messagerie instantanée. L'application de messagerie instantanée est configurée pour afficher une liste de conversations à la détection de la sélection de l'option de menu ou du lien sur l'écran de conversation et permet la navigation vers une autre conversation. Les conversations peuvent être ordonnées selon des priorités fondées d'abord sur le fait que la conversation présente ou non des messages non lus et dans le groupement des conversations présentant des messages non lus ou encore selon la dernière activité survenue. De cette façon, l'utilisateur a un accès plus facile aux conversations présentant l'activité la plus récente et la capacité de défiler la liste des conversations vers le bas pour poursuivre une conversation antérieure s'il le désire.
