Abstract
Linvention concerne des processus et des systèmes de récupération améliorée du bitume. Le processus peut comprendre lacheminement dun flux dentrée décume de bitume, la séparation du flux en une unité de séparation de lécume pour produire un flux de bitume dilué, le traitement du flux de bitume dilué dans un dessalinateur électrostatique afin de produire un flux de bitume traité et la séparation du flux de bitume traité en un flux recyclé de solvant et en un flux de produit de bitume. Le système peut comprendre un dessalinateur universel combiné doté dune unité de commande permettant doptimiser le processus de traitement afin de produire un flux de produit de bitume utilisant moins de solvant et des séparateurs plus petits que ceux des usines et des processus conventionnels de traitement de lécume de bitume.
