Abstract

La présente invention concerne un réactif pour la détermination fractionnaire de petite lipoprotéine dense de faible densité ne nécessitant aucun prétraitement d'un échantillon, rapide et simple, et applicable à un analyseur automatisé. L'invention concerne également un procédé de détermination de la quantité de cholestérol contenue dans une petite lipoprotéine dense de faible densité dans un échantillon, comprenant : une première étape pour l'entraînement d'une lipoprotéine autre que la petite lipoprotéine dense de faible densité en présence d'une cholestérol estérase et d'un tensioactif capable d'agir sut la lipoprotéine autre que la petite lipoprotéine dense de faible densité à une concentration comprise entre 0,05 et 1,0 g/L; et une seconde étape de détermination de la quantité de cholestérol dans la petite lipoprotéine dense de faible densité restante dans la première étape.
