Abstract
Panneau à copeaux orientés (OSB) à faible densité ayant une densité moyenne inférieure à environ 1,5 fois la densité d'essences de bois utilisés dans un panneau, et comportant un profil de densité vertical homogène. Les panneaux OSB peuvent être formés par le préchauffage du fini de bois avant le traitement, en contrôlant la teneur en humidité de façon à ce que la teneur en humidité de la couche intérieure soit plus élevée que celle des couches de surface extérieures; la formation des panneaux peut également faire appel à une combinaison de préchauffage et de contrôle de la teneur en humidité.
