Abstract

La présente invention a trait à des luminaires (10) devant éclairer une zone cible (13) ayant des sous-zones situées à l'avant et sur les parties latérales du luminaire. Les formes préférées du réflecteur parabolique composite comprennent un centre segmenté (59) et des parties latérales (61, 63). La partie centrale segmentée préférée dispose d'une première pluralité de segments paraboliques bidimensionnels (73, 75, 77), chacun d'entre eux ayant un point focal (79, 81, 83) situé dans une des régions d'emplacement de segment d'émission de lumière différente. Les parties latérales préférées disposent chacune d'une deuxième pluralité de segments paraboliques bidimensionnels (101-103) avec points focaux (138) situés le long de l'emplacement de segment d'émission de lumière. Les segments paraboliques sont efficaces pour diriger l'essentiel de la lumière vers les sous-zones cibles.
