Abstract

Pompe à jet deau conçue pour un véhicule aquatique et pouvant présenter une configuration « hors-bord » ou « à propulseur semi-hors-bord ». Le boîtier stator-boîte de vitesses de la pompe à jet peut comporter une tête de pompe hors-bord rattachée à sa surface supérieure; autrement, un entraînement à angle droit peut être rattaché, permettant ainsi une configuration de moteur en-bord ou semi-hors-bord. Une autre caractéristique utile est la présence dun col souple, sur lentrée de la pompe à jet, qui facilite la timonerie et lassiette. Le boîtier stator-boîte de vitesse peut être fabriqué comme un composant unique ou comprendre trois composants séparés vissés ensemble. Une caractéristique importante du boîtier dentraînement stator-boîte de vitesse est que leau est en mesure de passer à travers la section stator du stator-boîte de vitesses et un arbre dentraînement vertical sans causer de perte par frottement importante attribuable à la turbulence. Cela est rendu possible en faisant passer larbre à travers une lame de stator épaissie, qui est appariée de façon hydrodynamique aux lames adjacentes.
