Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système de codage et de décodage de contenu numérique vidéo. Ledit contenu comprend une suite d'images qui peuvent être chacune des images intérieures, des images prédites ou biprédites. Chacune des images comprend des macroblocs qui peuvent être de plus divisés en blocs plus petits. Ledit procédé entraîne le codage et de décodage de chaque image dans ladite suite d'images en mode trame ou en mode champ.
