Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de fabrication de paquets (10) de cigarettes, qui comprend un moyen de transport (32) entraîné en continu, en particulier une bande transporteuse (42) présentant un entraîneur (43), destiné à transporter les paquets (10), et un dispositif (31) destiné à appliquer des supports imprimés tels que des banderoles (26), des coupons ou similaires sur une surface latérale des paquets (10). Le dispositif (31) d'application des supports imprimés est implanté au niveau du moyen de transport (32) afin d'appliquer les supports imprimés sur une surface latérale des paquets (10) tournée vers le dispositif (31), pendant le transport le long du moyen de transport (32). Selon l'invention, il est prévu d'implanter au niveau du moyen de transport (32) ou du dispositif (31) d'application des supports imprimés un dispositif de pivotement (30) destiné à modifier la position relative des paquets (10). Le dispositif de pivotement (30) est conçu pour recevoir à chaque fois un paquet (10) dans une position relative qui correspond au transport sur le moyen de transport (32), pour tourner le paquet (10) dans une position relative adéquate pour l'application du support imprimé et pour tourner à nouveau le paquet (10) dans une position relative correspondant à la poursuite du transport sur le moyen de transport (32).
