Abstract

Un revêtement de protection pour lame de bâton de hockey est présenté pour protéger la lame et les portions effilées d'un bâton de hockey de l'usure non habituellement associée à un jeu de hockey sur glace. Le revêtement comprend un manchon allongé et présente une ouverture le long de son rebord supérieur pour recevoir la lame et la portion effilée du bâton de hockey. Le manchon et la portion effilée du revêtement sont disposés à un angle correspondant à l'angle entre la portion effilée et la lame du bâton de hockey. Une ou plusieurs attaches sont présentes autour de l'ouverture pour sécuriser le revêtement sur le bâton de hockey. Une insertion en feutre située à l'intérieur du manchon contribue également à la protection et permet d'absorber l'humidité de la lame après l'usage.
