Abstract

Procédé de fabrication dun lingot métallique pouvant être laminé à chaud sans homogénéisation préalable. La méthode comprend létape de faire fondre un métal pour former un lingot selon des conditions de température et de temps efficaces pour produire un métal solidifié ayant une microstructure sans noyau, lesdites conditions comprenant le maintien de lintérieur du lingot au-dessus dune température de transformation de plus de 425 °C pendant une période dau moins 10 minutes pendant ledit coulage dudit métal.
