Abstract

La méthode commence en formant une paire de puits de production par drainage par gravité dans une formation comprenant un puits d'injection et un puits de production. L'étape de présaturation commence par la saturation d'au moins un des puits de la paire de puits avec un solvant, le solvant ne contenant pas d'eau. L'étape de préchauffage commence par le chauffage du puits saturé de la paire de puits afin de produire une vapeur. L'étape d'esquichage commence en introduisant la vapeur dans le puits saturé de la paire de puits, et elle peut donc être simultanée avec l'étape de préchauffage. La production par drainage par gravité commence après l'étape d'esquichage, lorsque les puits sont en communication thermique.
