Abstract
Procédé enseigné pour créer une zone de dilatation verticale et continue du point de vue latéral raccordant les deux puits de drainage par gravité au moyen de vapeur (DGMV). Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : creuser et terminer le puits de DGMV dans une formation; préconditionner ledit puits afin de créer une condition de stress favorable pour former une zone de dilatation; injecter dans un ou deux des puits un stimulant, selon des pressions supérieures au stress minimal sur place de la formation pour initier la zone de dilatation raccordant ledit puits de DGMV; et continuer linjection de stimulant dans un premier des deux puits, tout en maintenant une pression cible dans le deuxième des deux puits pour propager la zone de dilatation de façon homogène tout le long du puits.
