Abstract

Une méthode et un système servant à contrôler un semoir pneumatique pour distribuer des mélanges choisis de fertilisant dans un champ sont révélés. Un fermier achète des nutriments de base qui sont mélangés pendant la distribution dans le champ. Un semoir pneumatique comportant plusieurs compartiments est sélectionné selon le nombre de nutriments de base ou de semences à distribuer. Les doseurs associés à chaque compartiment contrôlent le débit de distribution du produit. Un opérateur définit un mélange désiré de fertilisants et détermine chacun des nutriments de base chargés dans le semoir pneumatique. Le contrôleur génère des signaux de contrôle produits à chaque doseur afin de contrôler le débit de distribution du produit selon le mélange désiré de fertilisants. Ainsi, un fermier peut acheter et stocker des nutriments de base au lieu de divers mélanges de fertilisants et créer plusieurs mélanges adaptés, au besoin, selon la superficie et le type de semence à planter.
