Abstract

Procédé de diagnostic pour système de protection Haute intégrité (high Integrity Protection System/HIPS) destiné à protéger une conduite en aval de la tête de puits. Ce système consiste : à surveiller la survenue d'un déclenchement automatique ou d'un arrêt de sécurité manuel ou un test de mise à l'arrêt complet ; à déterminer le temps de sécurité effectif (process safety time/PST) qui s'est écoulé entre le moment où la pression en amont atteint le point de déclenchement et le moment où cette pression amont atteint la valeur maximum admissible dans une conduite (maximum allowable piping pressure/MAPP) dans la conduite aval, et à vérifier que les vannes d'isolement critique sont passé sur la position de fermeture complète en la moitié du temps PST et que la pression aval n'a pas dépassé la valeur MAPP. Si la vérification est satisfaisante, aucune action n'est requise, mais si cette vérification révèle que l'un ou l'autre de ces paramètres n'est pas satisfait, le système HIPS déclenche une alarme pour les opérateurs et, dans le cas d'un arrêt manuel de sécurité ou d'un test de mise à l'arrêt complète, réenclenche le point d'arrêt par pression à un niveau inférieur.
