Abstract

La présente invention concerne des systèmes et procédés qui mesurent les fractions de fibres non digérées par digestion ruminale dans un aliment par échantillonnage de fourrages et de grains de sources d'aliment disponibles, analyse des échantillons afin de déterminer une valeur NDF de départ et une valeur NDF finale après digestion ruminale, calcul d'une fraction NDF non digérée par digestion ruminale sur la base de celles-ci ; et calcul d'une ration alimentaire en utilisant la fraction NDF non digérée par digestion ruminale et les taux d'alimentation des échantillons analysés. Les systèmes et les procédés réduisent les coûts d'aliments ou améliorent la production de lait par analyse des composants alimentaires dans une ration alimentaire fournie à un ruminant en lactation, comparaison des résultats analysés à une formulation d'aliment stockée en mémoire, la formulation d'aliment étant destinée à contrôler un taux et un degré de digestion de fibres et d'amidon dans le rumen, et reformulation de la ration alimentaire sur la base de la comparaison. Le taux de digestion de fibres peut être contrôlé sur la base d'une détermination de la fraction NDF non digérée par digestion ruminale des composants alimentaires analysés.
