Abstract

Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, un support de retenue pour coupler un élément de colonne de direction à un élément support transversal de véhicule. Le support comprend un patin de montage et une tige de renfort. Le patin de montage comporte des goussets réunis solidairement par une plaque dextrémité avant et une bride inférieure sétendant vers lintérieur le long dune partie de bord inférieure dun gousset vers lautre gousset pour définir un canal inférieur. La tige de renfort comprend une partie de renfort allongée et une partie dalésage filetée, la tige de renfort étant positionnée dans le canal avec une surface périphérique externe couplée à la bride et lautre gousset. La partie dalésage filetée définit un alésage à filetage interne aux fins dun enclenchement par raccordement complémentaire avec une extrémité filetée dun boulon de fixation aux fins de la fixation de lélément de colonne de direction au support de retenue.
