Abstract

Des procédés et des appareils sont proposés pour améliorer la sélection de choix de mots dans un dispositif électronique. Lentrée dun ou plusieurs caractères est reçue par un clavier physique capacitif. Un procédé de prédiction de mots génère un ensemble de candidats de prédiction de mots, détermine un caractère unique dans chaque candidat de prédiction de mot et affiche les candidats de prédiction de mots avec un indice visuel pour indiquer le caractère unique. Une seconde entrée est ensuite reçue, laquelle comprend une entrée de frappe dun seul caractère sur le clavier. Le dispositif électronique détermine si la seconde entrée correspond à un caractère unique associé à lun quelconque des candidats de prédiction de mots et, si cest le cas, affiche le mot choisi dans un champ dentrée sur lécran.
