Abstract

On décrit un système et un procédé dinjection de carburants multiples pour un moteur à combustion interne, lesquels mettent en uvre un premier injecteur de carburant avec une surface découlement dimensionnée pour une injection précise et constante dune quantité pilote dun premier carburant directement dans une chambre de combustion, et un second injecteur de carburant en communication sélective avec une alimentation du premier carburant et une alimentation dun second carburant, le second injecteur de carburant ayant une surface découlement dimensionnée de façon à permettre linjection du premier carburant directement dans la chambre de combustion selon les quantités requises pour délivrer suffisamment dénergie pour permettre un fonctionnement dans une plage de conditions de fonctionnement de moteur, y compris des conditions de forte charge, uniquement avec le premier carburant délivré comme carburant à la chambre de combustion. Quand le second injecteur de carburant est alimenté avec le second carburant, il peut fonctionner pour linjection de fin de cycle dune partie du second carburant qui est requise pour faire fonctionner ledit moteur sous une forte charge.
