Abstract

Une méthode damélioration de la qualité dun produit de bitume dilué dans un procédé de traitement de mousse de bitume est proposée, laquelle comprend : lajout dun démulsifiant à la mousse de bitume pour produire un mélange de mousse de bitume et de démulsifiant, le démulsifiant étant ajouté à un dosage suffisant pour réduire la teneur en eau du bitume dans le produit de bitume dilué; la soumission du mélange de mousse de bitume et de démulsifiant à une entrée dénergie de mélange supérieure à environ 100 J/kg; lajout dun diluant dhydrocarbures au mélange mixte de mousse de bitume et de démulsifiant pour produire une mousse de bitume diluée dans le diluant; et la soumission de la mousse de bitume diluée dans le diluant à un procédé de séparation pour produire le produit de bitume dilué. Dans un mode de réalisation, le démulsifiant est ajouté en premier au naphta pour former un mélange démulsifiant-diluant qui est alors ajouté à la mousse de bitume pour former une mousse de bitume diluée avant de soumettre la mousse de bitume diluée à une entrée dénergie de mélange supérieure à environ 100 J/kg.
