Abstract

Il est décrit un appareil et une méthode permettant d'utiliser des renseignements de thermographie infrarouge non invasive, automatisée et en temps réel obtenus auprès d'un groupe d'animaux autant aux fins de mesure de la température qu'aux fins d'analyse du comportement, ce qui fournit un facteur de prévision précoce et plus exacte du commencement d'une maladie, de l'état de croissance, ou de l'état reproductif d'un animal faisant partie du groupe. Plus particulièrement, le système et la méthode en question décrivent l'utilisation d'images thermique pour obtenir des renseignements sur la température et le comportement d'au moins un animal à la fois et pour déterminer l'état de santé, l'état de croissance, ou l'état reproductif de ces animaux. Les données biométriques sur la température, comme la thermographie infrarouge à détermination de radiofréquence, peuvent se combiner aux renseignements biométriques sur les comportements comme le groupement, aux fins de détection des premières indications des états biologiques chez les animaux.
