Abstract

Il est prévu un procédé et une formulation de solidification pour traiter des saumures usées provenant dune opération de récupération dhydrocarbures thermique in situ. Les saumures usées peuvent provenir dune opération de drainage par gravité au moyen de vapeur, dun flux de purge de cristalliseur, dun flux de purge dévaporateur ou dun flux purge de générateur de vapeur à simple traversée. Le procédé comprend lajout de la formulation de solidification à la saumure usée pour produire un déchet solidifié qui peut être éliminé dans des sites denfouissement. La formulation de solidification peut être préparée selon les caractéristiques chimiques de la saumure usée. La formulation de solidification ajoutée à la saumure usée peut comprendre des cendres volantes ayant une teneur élevée en carbone, comme celles issues du coke de pétrole. Des composés contenant du calcium et des composés contenant de la silice peuvent également être inclus dans la formation de solidification.
