Abstract
Un ensemble déchelle extensible/rétractable comportant un premier montant et un second montant et une pluralité de barreaux sétendant entre ceux-ci. Chaque montant peut comporter une pluralité de colonnes disposées dans un agencement demboîtement pour un mouvement axial relatif de manière télescopique. Un ensemble de raccordement relie les barreaux à des colonnes respectives dans les premier et second montants. Léchelle présente une aptitude améliorée à la fabrication étant donné que des ensembles de raccordement peuvent être assemblés avant le raccordement des barreaux à des colonnes respectives. La marche des barreaux peut être inclinée de sorte quelle soit entraînée en rotation vers lhorizontale lorsque lensemble déchelle est en appui contre un mur. Un ensemble de verrouillage peut être utilisé pour le verrouillage sélectif du mouvement axial entre des colonnes adjacentes. Lensemble de verrou comporte un ensemble daxe de verrouillage comportant un axe central et une gaine métallique extérieure. Un clapet à air peut également être utilisé pour réguler le flux dair à travers les colonnes.
