Abstract

Des procédés et des appareils pour encoder et décoder un vecteur de mouvement sont décrits. Le procédé de codage du vecteur mouvement consiste à : sélectionner, comme mode de codage dinformations relatives à un prédicteur de vecteur mouvement du bloc courant, un premier mode selon lequel sont codées des informations indiquant le prédicteur de vecteur mouvement choisi parmi plusieurs prédicteurs de vecteur mouvement, ou un second mode selon lequel sont codées des informations indiquant la génération du prédicteur de vecteur mouvement sur la base des blocs ou des pixels inclus dans une zone préalablement codée adjacente au bloc courant; déterminer le prédicteur de vecteur mouvement du bloc courant selon le mode sélectionné et coder les informations relatives au prédicteur de vecteur mouvement du bloc courant; et coder un vecteur de différence entre le vecteur mouvement du bloc courant et le prédicteur de vecteur mouvement du bloc courant.
