Abstract

La présente invention concerne, selon différents aspects, l'identification d'une région d'intérêt dans un signal physiologique. Selon un ou plusieurs modes de réalisation, le signal physiologique est décomposé en sous-composantes, et un sous-ensemble des sous-composantes est choisi en fonction d'un chevauchement d'énergie spectrale avec l'énergie spectrale attendue de la région d'intérêt, dans au moins l'une des sous-composantes. Au moins deux des sous-composantes dans le sous-ensemble sont combinées et comparées à un seuil, la comparaison étant utilisée pour identifier l'emplacement de la région d'intérêt.
