Abstract

Linvention concerne une composante, destinée à être utilisée avec un outil rotatif et à être insérée à travers une surface dun espace de travail constituée dun matériau présentant une plasticité induite par le frottement tel que laluminium, qui est tournée dans une première direction tandis quune force axiale de magnitude suffisante est appliquée sur la composante afin de produire une insertion de celle-ci en plastifiant le matériau par frottement. La composante comporte une partie de tête dont la base est adaptée de manière à être fixée à loutil rotatif et une extrémité de travail dont la surface extérieure est filetée, ainsi quune partie dinsertion comportant une extrémité de pénétration et sétendant le long dun axe dinsertion, au moins une surface extérieure de la partie dinsertion étant constituée dun second matériau plus dur que le premier matériau. La partie dinsertion est dotée dun alésage fileté dont lextrémité pénétrante est fermée et qui sétend le long de laxe dinsertion pour recevoir initialement lextrémité de travail filetée.
