Abstract
La présente invention concerne des compositions, procédés, trousses pour l'identification de biomolécules (par exemple, des protéines et des acides nucléiques) exprimés dans un échantillon biologique qui sont associés à la présence, au développement, ou à la progression d'une maladie (tel que le cancer), ou plus généralement la détermination de l'étiologie ou de facteurs de risques associés à une maladie. Des types d'échantillons analysés par les procédés selon la présente invention comprennent, entre autres, des blocs tissulaires d'archives qui ont été préservés dans une solution de fixation, des échantillons de biopsie tissulaire, des micro-matrices d'ADN tissulaires, et analogues. Les procédés selon la présente invention effectuent une corrélation de profils d'expression de biomolécules avec divers types de maladies, et permettent la détermination de taux de survie relatifs; selon certains modes de réalisation, les procédés permettent la détermination de taux de survie pour un sujet atteint de cancer. Selon d'autres modes de réalisation, la présente invention concerne des procédés pour l'évaluation de régimes thérapeutiques pour le traitement, tel que le traitement du cancer.
