Une méthode de traitement dune suspension aqueuse de particules minérales comprend séquentiellement : lajout dun floculant anionique dans la suspension; le mélange de la suspension traitée ainsi produite; lajout dun floculant cationique de masse moléculaire de plus de 2 millions de daltons ou dun coagulant cationique de masse moléculaire de moins de 1 million de daltons dans la suspension; le mélange de la suspension traitée ainsi produite; la centrifugation du mélange ainsi produit.
