Abstract

Il est décrit une méthode et des trousses pour la détection du cancer, et en particulier le cancer du sein, chez un sujet en mesurant les niveaux dau moins un biomarqueur dune série de biomarqueurs, par rapport à un échantillon témoin exempt de cancer. Lexpression du biomarqueur augmente ou diminue dans les échantillons provenant de sujets atteints de cancer, par rapport au niveau dexpression chez les sujets non atteints de cancer. Léchantillon est de préférence un prélèvement oculaire, tel quun échantillon de larmes isolées ou un lavage oculaire, mais il peut également sagir de salive ou dun autre fluide corporel. Les trousses peuvent comprendre un tube de prélèvement et des inhibiteurs de protéase ou des stabilisateurs de protéines.
