Abstract

Des méthodes, des systèmes et des techniques de contrôle du taux de pénétration dun foret sappuient sur des mesures de paramètres lues sur des capteurs de paramètres de forage pour évaluer les boucles de contrôle, où la sortie dune des boucles de contrôle à tout moment donné est utilisée par un appareil de forage automatique pour contrôler le taux de pénétration. Pour chacun des paramètres de forage, la foreuse automatique lit une mesure de paramètre de forage, détermine une mesure derreur qui représente une différence entre un point de consigne dun paramètre de forage et la mesure du paramètre de forage et, à partir de la mesure derreur, détermine un signal de sortie proportionnel au taux de pénétration du foret. Le signal de sortie dune des boucles de contrôle est subséquemment sélectionné et utilisé pour contrôler le taux de pénétration.
