Abstract

Un outil pour couper une partie dune longueur dune suture pendant une intervention chirurgicale comprend un arbre allongé ayant un arbre allongé doté dune fente ouverte dévidement pour recevoir la suture, la fente comprenant un coude. Loutil comprend en outre un élément de coupe tubulaire renfermant larbre allongé. Loutil a une position ouverte, dans laquelle larbre fait saillie vers lextérieur de lélément de coupe tubulaire pour exposer la fente afin de recevoir une suture; une position intermédiaire dans laquelle lélément de coupe tubulaire couvre le coude de la fente; et une position fermée, dans laquelle larbre est tiré dans lélément de coupe tubulaire de telle sorte quune partie des extrémités de larc de suture est coupée.
