Abstract
L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes servant à détecter une condition dans un local. Selon au moins un mode de réalisation, un procédé servant détecter une condition dans un local comprend l'étape consistant à détecter un son au moyen d'un composant de système de sécurité, l'étape consistant à déterminer, au moyen du composant de système de sécurité, si le son appartient à une classe de sons reconnus, l'étape consistant à envoyer la classe reconnue à une unité de commande à distance, et l'étape consistant à amener au moyen de l'unité de commande à distance une réponse prédéterminée à se produire en fonction de la catégorie reconnue. Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé comprend l'étape consistant à utiliser un microphone pour surveiller les sons au niveau d'un bâtiment, l'étape consistant à détecter un son par l'intermédiaire du microphone, et l'étape consistant à déterminer si le son provient d'un être humain ou d'un animal. Dans certains cas, le microphone est un microphone détecteur de bris de vitre.
