Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil déflecteur déployable installé dans un cuvelage pour isoler des sections d'un puits de forage au cours de traitements de stimulation. Le déflecteur déployable est introduit et positionné à l'intérieur d'un puits de forage au moyen d'un outil de pose. Pour déployer le déflecteur déployable, l'outil de pose déploie une section extensible du déflecteur déployable de sorte que la paroi extérieure de la section extensible vienne en contact avec une surface intérieure du cuvelage. Dès que le déflecteur déployable est déployé, le déflecteur déployable est séparé de l'outil de pose et le train d'outils peut être repositionné pour d'autres opérations de fond de trou ou retiré du puits de forage.
