Abstract

La présente invention concerne des molécules avec des propriétés antivirales pour empêcher la propagation d'une infection chez l'animal ou le poisson par un virus de la famille Birnaviridae, en particulier le virus de la nécrose pancréatique infectieuse (IPNv). Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne des peptides qui sont efficaces dans la diminution d'une infection virale en réduisant ou en empêchant la production de particules virales, et peut par conséquent empêcher le risque de létalité résultant de l'infection virale et est particulièrement utile dans la prophylaxie ou la prévention d'infections par des virus de la famille Birnaviridae. Un mode de réalisation particulier envisage l'utilisation de peptides appliquée aux réservoirs où les poissons sont élevés ou en tant que partie d'une composition d'alimentation.
