Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d'un système de vanne pour une conduite de production (104) dans un puits (101) à travers une formation contenant des hydrocarbures avec une ou plusieurs vannes (1a, 1b, 1c) qui comprennent un ou plusieurs sièges qui sont activés sélectivement au moyen d'une bille (5) de la même taille, la bille étant conçue pour reposer sur un ou plusieurs sièges de billes (4a, b, c...) à l'intérieur de la vanne, le siège (4a, b, c...) pouvant être activé pour recevoir une bille (5a) avant entraînement dans un puits ou lors du passage d'une bille (5) précédemment libérée ou d'un autre objet de diamètre adapté ou de forme adaptée Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que chaque vanne appliquée (1a, 1b, 1c) comprend deux boîtiers séparés (2) et (3) respectivement, sous la forme d'un boîtier intérieur (3) agencé à l'intérieur d'un boîtier extérieur (2), le boîtier intérieur (3) pouvant être librement déplacé axialement par rapport au boîtier extérieur (2) étant donné que le boîtier intérieur (3) comprend un ou plusieurs sièges de billes (4), l'un situé axialement au-dessus de l'autre, et qui sont activés pour retenir une bille (5), successivement lorsque le boîtier intérieur (3) est déplacé axialement dans le boîtier extérieur (2). L'invention concerne également un système de vanne à cet effet.
