Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés de réduction de la libération de composés organiques volatils (COV) dans l'atmosphère terrestre pendant des opérations de revêtement fournissant une composition de revêtement comprenant un support comprenant des composés de COV et un ou plusieurs polymère(s) fluoré(s) par copolymérisation des éléments suivants: (1) un premier monomère choisi dans le groupe composé d'hydrofluoroalcènes, (2) un second monomère comprenant un ou plusieurs ester(s) vinylique(s), et (3) un troisième monomère comprenant un ou plusieurs éther(s) vinylique(s), au moins une partie dudit monomère d'éther vinylique étant un éther vinylique contenant un groupe hydroxyle, le copolymère fluoré comprenant au moins environ 70% en poids de ladite composition de revêtement et la partie de COV dudit support n'étant pas supérieure à environ 30% en poids de ladite composition de revêtement.
