Abstract

Il est décrit un procédé de polymérisation en solution en continu dans lequel des formulations de catalyseurs sont utilisées. Une première formulation de catalyseur homogène est utilisée dans un premier réacteur pour produire un premier interpolymère d’éthylène, et une première formulation de catalyseur hétérogène est utilisée dans un deuxième réacteur pour produire un deuxième interpolymère d’éthylène. Éventuellement, un troisième interpolymère d’éthylène est formé dans un troisième réacteur. Les produits d’interpolymère d’éthylène obtenus possèdent des propriétés souhaitables dans diverses applications d’utilisation finale, par exemple dans des applications de film. Il est également décrit un moyen pour augmenter le poids moléculaire du premier interpolymère d’éthylène et/ou un moyen pour augmenter la température du premier réacteur par rapport à une troisième formulation de catalyseur homogène. Il est également décrit un moyen permettant de réduire le rapport de pondération (α-oléfine/éthylène) dans le premier réacteur et/ou de réduire la densité du premier interpolymère d’éthylène par rapport à une troisième formulation de catalyseur homogène.
